AWS Business Analyst - Portal Modernization (Singapore)

This role drives the migration of legacy on-prem portals to AWS cloud infrastructure through requirements gathering, solution design, and agile delivery in Singapore.

Experienced Business Analyst needed to analyze, plan, and execute AWS modernization projects, ensuring seamless transition from legacy systems to cloud-native architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct user story grooming with stakeholders, converting business requirements into detailed, sprint-ready user stories with acceptance criteria.

Collaborate with solution architects and developers to design AWS-aligned solutions, reviewing test cases for boundary/error/standard scenarios.

Identify migration risks, develop mitigation strategies, and maintain comprehensive documentation in project tools.

Provide regular progress updates to product owners, highlighting deviations and ensuring test execution alignment.

Must-Have Skills

AWS Expertise: Proven experience with AWS services, cloud architecture, and modernization best practices.

SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL skills for data analysis, dependencies identification, and test data preparation.

Agile Delivery: Sprint planning, backlog management, user story readiness, and iterative development experience.

Good-to-Have Skills

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer Associate).

Cross-functional collaboration with technical teams and changing requirements adaptability.

Excellent stakeholder communication and analytical problem-solving.
