Regional Operations Management team supports Business operations of APAC offices (excluding Japan) of Mizuho Bank ensuring excellence in service delivery, process efficiency, risk management, and regulatory compliance. It also supports business growth and transformation initiatives, driving regional alignment and operational best practices.

Job Responsibilities
This role oversees operational activities across the bank's Asia Pacific offices, ensuring excellence in service delivery, process efficiency, risk management, and regulatory compliance. This strategic role supports business growth and transformation initiatives, driving regional alignment and operational best practices.
- Facilitate seamless coordination between branch and regional teams to oversee operational functions across all APAC offices, ensuring alignment with consistent standards and high performance. Support and coordinate implementation of regional operational strategies aligned with global objectives and local market needs.
- Support process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and adherence to internal policies across jurisdictions.
- Collaborate with business heads, technology, risk, compliance, and other stakeholders to support business initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
- Monitor and analyze key operational metrics, reporting to senior management and recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Lead crisis management and business continuity planning for the region.
- Drive a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in banking operations, with significant regional or multi-country management experience in APAC.
- Deep understanding of banking products, processes, and regulatory environments across Asia Pacific.
- Proven leadership and people management skills, including experience leading diverse, cross-border teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Fluency in English
