Our client, a respected and well-established financial institution, is currently seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Procurement to lead their procurement function.

Responsibilities
This is a critical leadership role, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to shape and drive the procurement strategy across the organization, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory standards, and risk management frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement governance. You will lead a team of procurement professionals, working closely with senior leadership across departments such as Finance, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Operations to optimize supplier relationships and maximize value.

Requirements

This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record of delivering cost efficiencies, enhancing procurement processes, and managing third-party risk within a regulated environment-preferably within financial services or banking or insurance. Strong commercial acumen and exceptional negotiation skills are essential, alongside the ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels.
