AVP/VP, Data Scientist

We are seeking a commercially minded Data Scientist to help scale enterprise AI initiatives within a leading financial services firm in Asia. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully delivered GenAI solutions into production and directly owned measurable business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

You will play a central role in advancing the firm's AI capabilities, translating innovative AI concepts into scalable solutions. Working closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders, you will ensure that AI systems are reliable, scalable, and embedded into real user journeys. You will also establish monitoring frameworks to track model performance, business impact, and risk controls, iterating based on performance data and evolving requirements.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings 3-7+ years of hands-on AI/ML experience, with demonstrated success delivering production-grade GenAI solutions that have achieved tangible business impact.

You should bring strong communication skills, commercial awareness and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
