Introduction

Temasek is seeking innovative Product Managers to drive transformation, drive BAU and enhance our capabilities in the evolving technological landscape. Responsibilities

As a Finance and Tax Product Manager within our Technology team, you will:

  • Spearhead the Implementation, Delivery, and Maintenance of Finance and Tax systems & related projects.
  • Partner with Finance team to review and optimize processes using Workday and other AI/ML solutions
  • Manage BAU aspects of systems, including monitoring and maintaining the operational health of the core systems. Ensure all teams adhere to system availability, reliability, and performance meet defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Work with and manage related vendor partners to deliver to the outcome.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and align business requirements with current architecture.
  • Act as a crucial bridge between business and technology delivery teams, driving both project delivery and day-to-day operations.
  • Lead rollouts of new systems/features/modules/integrations, including AI-powered features (chatbots, recommendations, document intelligence); ensure integration, UAT, and enduser training.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Engage with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to drive solutions and resolve issues.
  • Oversee vendors; ensure quality, compliance, observability, and timely issue resolution. Manage vendor relationships end-to-end; ensure compliance for data privacy, security, and AI usage.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders in an agile environment.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on finance and tax-related projects.
  • Experience in managing for medium to large complex project delivery, managing work delivered through multiple third parties delivery team. Should have good experience in across delivering digital or custom solutions, integrating with package and/or SaaS enterprise solutions.
  • Consulting background in Workday Finance delivery preferred.
  • Candidates with Workday Finance certification preferred.
  • Preferred to have experience in managing multi vendor environment and handling of BAU operations.

  • Experience in delivering and having In-depth knowledge of Financial systems
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong skills in user-centered design and Agile Delivery Methodologies
  • Ability to adapt to various roles and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to project manage and work with cross-functional teams, different stakeholders.
