Role Purpose

The incumbent works directly with the CEO to support the shaping, prioritisation and execution of enterprise‑level strategic and transformation initiatives. This is a strategy‑driven execution role, focused on ensuring that transformation initiatives are commercially sound, well‑sequenced, governed and embedded into the business to deliver sustained outcomes.

The role operates at the intersection of strategy formulation, enterprise execution and value realisation, helping senior leadership translate strategic intent into coherent, prioritised and measurable initiatives across the organisation. This includes productivity improvement, operating model enhancement, capability building and selective deployment of digital and analytical tools where they deliver clear business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • CEO & Enterprise Strategy Support
  • Work closely with the CEO to structure, evaluate and prioritise enterprise‑wide strategic and transformation initiatives
  • Provide analytical support, issue framing and option development to inform CEO and senior leadership decision‑making
  • Translate high‑level strategic priorities into a coherent portfolio of initiatives with clear objectives, scope and success measures
  • Enterprise Portfolio & Value Management
  • Maintain an enterprise‑wide view of transformation and productivity initiatives across functions and business units
  • Identify overlaps, interdependencies, gaps and opportunities to consolidate, sequence or scale initiatives
  • Support the development of clear success metrics and value tracking (e.g. productivity, cost, growth, risk, or capability outcomes)
  • Business Case Development & Prioritisation
  • Work with business and functional leaders to develop clear, commercially grounded business cases for strategic and transformation initiatives
  • Apply structured prioritisation frameworks to support leadership decisions on where to invest, accelerate, defer or stop
  • Ensure initiatives are aligned to enterprise strategy, resource capacity and change readiness
  • Execution Enablement & Change Support
  • Support the delivery of priority initiatives by coordinating across functions, enabling teams and governance forums
  • Track progress, issues and outcomes, synthesising insights for CEO and senior leadership updates
  • Help ensure successful initiatives are embedded into operating models, ways of working and performance routines
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
  • Engage senior leaders and functional heads to drive alignment, shared ownership and accountability
  • Coordinate with central teams (e.g. Digital, Risk, HR, Finance) to ensure initiatives are appropriately governed and supported
  • Act as a central coordination and integration point within the CEO Office to ensure consistency in standards, reporting and messaging

Requirements

Experience & Background

  • More than 10 years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate planning, transformation, management consulting, business improvement or analytics
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or executives on cross‑functional, enterprise‑level initiatives

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to connect initiatives to enterprise objectives and outcomes
  • Structured problem solving, business case development and prioritisation skills
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments with incomplete information
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills

Digital & Analytical Awareness

  • Working understanding of digital, automation and analytical tools as enablers of productivity and decision‑making (depth not required)
  • Ability to translate business needs into practical improvement or transformation opportunities

Additional Experience (Advantageous)

Exposure to one or more of the following will be an advantage, but is not a prerequisite:

  • Productivity or operating model improvement initiatives
  • Enterprise transformation or post‑strategy execution programmes
  • Digital, data or automation initiatives applied in a business context
  • Performance management, benefits tracking or change adoption work
