Responsibilities
- Execute and manage trades across multiple asset classes with accuracy and efficiency
- Comfortable dealing with clients who call into the desk to place orders
- Monitor and reconcile trade mismatches, identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolutions with relevant stakeholders
- Manage dealing operations during afternoon-to-midnight shifts, with flexibility to provide weekend coverage to ensure seamless trade execution, processing, and settlement.
- Maintain accurate trade documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with front office, trading, operations, and risk management teams to optimize dealing processes
- Handle ad-hoc dealing requests and support special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equities dealing or trading operations
- Strong ability to manage and transition between multiple asset classes simultaneously
- Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in dealing systems and trading platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of different asset market operations, settlement processes, and regulatory frameworks will be an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Possess FMRP, CACS Certifications 1 & 2
- This role primarily supports the European and US markets, while also providing partial coverage for the Asian market. As such, the incumbent is required to work afternoon/late-evening shifts (up to midnight) and be flexible in providing weekend coverage when required.
