How You Succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need to stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in risk management. You'll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. What You Do
- Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, tables, views, functions, and stored procedures
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or related tools
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
- Analyze complex problems and design effective solutions
- Implement solutions efficiently and effectively
- Test and validate solutions to ensure they meet requirements
- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing solutions
- Ensure database performance, reliability, and security through proactive monitoring and optimization
- Conduct data troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and data quality checks
- Develop and maintain documentation for database structures, processes, and procedures
- Support data migration, integration, and transformation projects
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards
Who You Are
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (2012 or later)
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Experience with performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and execution plan analysis
- Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, or other ETL/reporting solutions
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data modelling
- Experience working with large datasets and high-transaction environments
- Experience with risk management frameworks and technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements
- Familiarity with Power BI or data visualization tools, a plus
