Job Purpose

This role will be responsiblefor defining the vision, roadmap, and business value of internal workflow and workbench capabilities that support onboardingand associatedoperations, risk, and compliance processes. It combines strategic product leadership with essential hands-on Product Owner responsibilities, ensuring that high-impact initiatives are shaped, prioritised, and delivered effectively.

The role partners closely with internal users, design teams,engineering teams,deliveryteamsand cross-functional stakeholders to design intuitive, scalable, and efficient internal systems. While primarily focused on product strategy, value creation, and journey optimisation, the role also provides sufficient requirements clarity and sprint input to ensuretimelydelivery. The purpose of this role is to transform internal processes into automated, streamlined, and AI-ready workflows that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and elevate user experience.

Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Define and maintain the product vision and roadmap for internal workflow/workbench capabilities across segment and region
  • Align product strategy with business outcomes (efficiency gains, error reduction, compliance adherence)
  • Translate user pain points and regulatory needs into product opportunities
  • Manage expectations and negotiate priority trade-offs

Value Realisation & KPIs

  • Own product success metrics such as efficiency gains, SLA compliance, cycle-time reduction, completion rate, and user satisfaction(Customer and employee)
  • Ensure delivered features generate measurable improvements
  • Continuously experiment and iterate to optimise outcomes

Delivery Oversight & Backlog Leadership

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers,dataandtechnologyto ensure roadmap items are delivered with clarity
  • Maintain high-level backlog priorities; contribute to story refinement
  • Review completed work to ensure it meets product expectations
  • Conduct post-release evaluation and user feedback cycles and measure performance

Governance, Risk & Regulatory Alignment

  • Ensure workflows, UI flows, and internal actionscomply withpolicy, regulatory expectations, and audit requirements
  • Design product capabilities to minimise operational risk and improve control effectiveness

User Experience & Workflow Design

  • Champion intuitive, low-friction user experiences (Customers and employees)
  • Drive the design of workflows, dashboards, routing logic, task orchestration, and exception-handling capabilities
  • Advocate for automation, simplification, and AI/agentic augmentation

Journey & Product Subject Matter Expert

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for specific product supporting the onboarding journeys
  • Maintain a deep understanding of end-to-end onboarding flows, including processes, personas, data, regulatory requirements, and system interactions
  • Provide expert input into journey design, process optimisation, and readiness assessments
  • Ensure product decisions align with the broader onboarding journey vision and cross-product consistency
    • Support impact assessments for policy changes, regulatory updates, and market variations
Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree with 5 10 years experience ideally in Product Management (PM) or Product Owner (PO) role
  • Minimum 3years experience in banking, preferably wealth management
  • Experience delivering internal workflow, operations, process automation, or workbench platform
  • Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into requirements
  • Comfortable working with APIs, microservices, data flows, and digital UX patterns
  • Excellent communication: able to simplify complex concepts for varied audiences
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive consensus
  • Strong ownership mindset; comfortable with ambiguity
