The Portfolio Product Manager is responsible for driving the strategic growth and performance management of the consumer cross‑border transfers business. The role focuses on performance analytics, portfolio optimisation, competitive positioning, and strategic initiatives to support informed business decisions and sustainable growth.
Key Accountabilities
- Performance tracking and reporting – Track performance and monitor key metrics of the business
- Lead business trend analysis, oversee P&L drivers and assess risks and opportunities across corridors and segments
- Develop forecasts and management reports to support timely performance monitoring and strategic decision‑making.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and provide recommendations on pricing and value proposition enhancements.
- Manage the cross‑border transfers proposition across multiple channels and represent the bank in industry forums and working groups, including engagements with banks, ABS, operators (BCS/NETS), and regulators.
- Drive the delivery of key initiatives and projects end‑to‑end, including requirements definition, solution design, testing, go‑to‑market, and deployment.
Requirements
- Experience in product management, portfolio management, finance, or analytics, preferably within cross‑border payments
- Possesses good understanding of the transactional banking landscape, cross border payment products and the relevant competition, as well as the alternative products
- Proven ability to manage P&L, revenue, and cost drivers for transactional payment businesses.
- Highly analytical and data‑driven, with the ability to translate insights into clear recommendations and decisions.
- Driven individual with a strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer‑centric mindset with a strong focus on delivering meaningful value.
