About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Social Media Operations Lead to drive high-impact social media strategy, content, and community growth across global platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of social media strategy, content creation, and community engagement, requiring someone who can scale brand presence while building highly engaged online communities. You will play a key role in shaping our social voice, expanding reach across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, and strengthening user relationships through platforms such as Discord and Reddit.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and emerging channels. Identify target audiences, optimize channel mix, and stay ahead of trends to ensure sustained growth and relevance.
- Team Leadership & Execution: Lead, mentor, and scale the social media team. Delegate responsibilities effectively, ensure high-quality execution of campaigns, and foster a collaborative, creative, and performance-driven team culture.
- Content Creation & Management: Oversee the production of engaging, high-quality content tailored to each platform. Develop and manage a structured content calendar, ensuring consistency in posting and alignment with brand voice and campaign priorities.
- Community Engagement & Growth: Build and manage active communities on platforms such as Discord and Reddit. Engage with users through comments, messages, and discussions, while encouraging user-generated content and maintaining a strong, interactive community presence.
- Analytics & Performance Optimization: Track and analyze key social media metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness. Translate data into actionable insights, continuously optimizing content, engagement strategies, and channel performance. Provide regular reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment. Partner with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand reach, credibility, and engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Experience & Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Platform Expertise: Strong understanding of major social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook) and community platforms (Discord, Reddit), including tools, algorithms, and analytics.
- Content & Creativity: Excellent content judgment with a creative mindset, capable of developing innovative ideas that resonate with target audiences across formats and channels.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal language skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms in English- and Chinese-speaking markets.
- Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and refine strategies accordingly.
- Work Style: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and taking ownership of outcomes.
