AVP (Insurance Platform Management)

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced AVP, Platforms Management professional to lead complex transformation programmes across digital and operational platforms. This role will oversee end-to-end programme delivery, governance, investment planning, and cross-functional stakeholder management to ensure successful execution and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end programme delivery, overseeing scope, sequencing, milestones, quality, and outcome realisation.
• Drive programme prioritisation and investment planning from initiation through implementation.
• Act as the central authority for programme governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
• Manage cross-platform dependencies and business impacts across digital and operational environments to support seamless customer journeys.
• Resolve cross-workstream issues and escalate critical decisions to senior management where required.
• Partner with internal support functions and external vendors to ensure delivery against agreed objectives.
• Drive market readiness and adoption through a common operating model, adapting approaches to meet business and market requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related discipline is mandatory.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in transformation, programme delivery, or consulting, preferably within regulated industries.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-workstream programmes in complex organisational environments.
• Strong execution skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight timelines.
• Sound judgement and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in ambiguous or evolving situations.
• Strong understanding of digital, data, and AI concepts, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams.
• Excellent risk, dependency, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level communication.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across functions without direct reporting authority.
• Recognised certifications in programme management, transformation, or change management will be an advantage.
