Job Description

  • Oversee and manage the onboarding of High Net Worth Clients, including performing Source of Wealth corroboration;
  • Ensure compliance with the MAS AML Notice, Guidelines and associated instruments, as well as other relevant laws and regulations;
  • Understand and apply all relevant KYC processes, including Name Screening, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Customer Risk Rating, as well as managing management approvals for sanction risk, political exposure risk and other high risk clients;
  • Advise management, business units and local compliance across GE Group on relevant AML-related matters, particularly in respect of AML rules and considerations applicable to HNW clients;
  • Carry out such other AML/CFT and other tasks as may be required.
  • Hold tertiary or relevant professional qualification, preferably with certification in the area of AML/CFT;
  • Have at least 8 years of working experience
  • Have at least 5 years of direct experience in performing AML due diligence for onboarding HNW clients, including performing Source of Wealth corroboration, preferably for a private bank;
  • Have good knowledge of AML/CFT matters;
  • Are team players and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
  • Are able to handle difficult situations and adapt to fast-pace environment;
  • Have a good analytical, conceptual and problem solving mind;
  • Are resourceful information seekers with an orientation towards order and quality;
  • Have good interpersonal skills; and
  • Are self-starters and proactive.
