We are partnering with a SGX-listed group to appoint an experienced Assistant Vice President, Financial Reporting to join their Group Finance function. This is a high-visibility role within the consolidation team, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and auditors.

Why This Role
You will play a critical leadership role in ensuring full compliance with SGX reporting requirements, IFRS/SFRS(I), and statutory obligations across the Group. Beyond technical reporting, you will also contribute strategically to governance, controls, and financial performance management.
Key Responsibilities
SGX & Statutory Reporting
- Lead preparation and review of SGX announcements, annual reports, and regulatory submissions ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
- Oversee full set consolidated financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in accordance with IFRS/SFRS(I)
- Act as subject matter expert on evolving financial reporting standards and regulatory developments
Group Consolidation & Audit
- Manage complex group consolidation across multiple entities, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
- Oversee accounting for complex transactions and technical interpretations
- Lead external audit processes and maintain strong auditor relationships
Business & Leadership Impact
- Partner FP&A in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Provide financial insights to support capital allocation and business strategy
- Lead and develop a high-performing reporting team, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
Ideal Profile
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance with CA/CPA qualification preferred
- 10+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in group consolidation
- Strong hands-on experience with SGX reporting and regulatory compliance (must have)
- Big 4 background followed by commercial experience preferred
- Familiar with consolidation systems and ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to interpret complex standards
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing teams
