Job Description
Our client, a leading international bank, is looking to appoint an Assistant Vice President, Corporate Banking to cover a portfolio of large corporate clients.
This is a generalist corporate banking role, covering client relationship management, credit origination and the delivery of a broad range of banking solutions across lending, trade finance, cash management and other corporate banking products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of large corporate clients.
- Act as a trusted banking partner, understanding clients business, financial and strategic requirements.
- Identify opportunities for new business, cross-selling and wallet expansion across corporate banking products.
- Drive loan origination, structuring and execution of bilateral and syndicated facilities.
- Partner with product specialists across Transaction Banking, Trade Finance, Treasury and other relevant businesses.
- Prepare and present credit proposals, annual reviews and client account plans.
- Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality and utilisation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Credit, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Operations to ensure effective execution.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
- 3–8 years of relevant corporate banking experience, preferably covering large local or multinational corporates.
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products, credit analysis and financial statements.
- Experience in relationship management, credit origination and/or corporate lending.
- Strong commercial and client management skills.
- Good communication, analytical and stakeholder management capabilities.
