Job Summary
As an Avaloq Consultant, you will analyze business requirements, design solutions within the Avaloq Core Banking System, and support implementation and testing to deliver high-quality banking solutions in collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business requirements and processes to inform solution design
- Evaluate business and IT scenarios to recommend optimal solutions aligned with client needs
- Design and document business solutions using Avaloq tools and methodologies to ensure clarity and feasibility
- Facilitate workshops and client meetings to validate and refine proposed solutions
- Support system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality and functionality
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely support to maintain system stability
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to drive project success
- Maintain and enhance Avaloq modules and components to improve system performance and capabilities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in banking or financial services to understand industry-specific requirements and challenges
- Familiarity with Avaloq Core Banking System Avaloq certification is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational databases to support technical solution development
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills to engage stakeholders and facilitate collaboration
