AV Operations Crew (Driver)

Job Description & Requirements

About the Role

This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, driving and supporting event setups.

No prior AV experience is required - training will be provided for candidates who are willing to learn and work hard.

You will be responsible for transporting and assisting with setup of professional audio visual equipment for corporate events, exhibitions and live productions across Singapore.

This is not a typical delivery driver role.
The role combines driving, physical equipment handling and event setup work as part of a technical operations team.

This role requires reliability, physical stamina and the ability to work under time pressure during event setups.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle safely for equipment deployment and return

• Load, unload and transport AV equipment to event venues

• Assist with setup and teardown of AV equipment (e.g. TVs, speakers, lighting, LED walls, stage)

• Lay cables neatly and safely during setups

• Follow packing lists and operational instructions carefully

• Test equipment before deployment when required

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness

• Support warehouse organisation and equipment preparation

• Communicate clearly with the operations team

• Assist with basic troubleshooting during setups when needed

• Follow operational SOPs and safety practices strictly

Operational Improvement Responsibilities

• Report operational issues observed during jobs

• Suggest practical improvements to workflows

• Work with the operations team to reduce recurring issues

Requirements

• Valid Class 3 driving licence

• Comfortable driving company vans for equipment deployment (Important: Company vans cannot be driven home or kept overnight. Candidates who require a take-home vehicle should not apply.)

• Physically fit and able to handle lifting of equipment

• Responsible, punctual and dependable

• Calm under pressure during event setups

• Able to follow instructions carefully

• Good teamwork and communication

• Comfortable with hands-on technical work

This role is not suitable for candidates looking for a driving-only job.

AV experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

Vehicle safety and responsible driving are important.

Candidates must be currently eligible to work in Singapore without requiring work pass sponsorship.
