About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our service team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance on vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- Assist in the installation and testing of automotive components and systems.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Uphold workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with workshop guidelines.
- Provide technical support and advice to colleagues and customers when required.
Requirements
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent in Automotive Engineering/Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, preferably with passenger vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
- Familiarity with EV (Electric Vehicle) systems and components will be an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to continuously upgrade technical knowledge and skills.
