Automotive Mechanic

Job Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of passenger vehicles and light commercial vehicles.
• Conduct preventive maintenance services, including engine oil changes, filter replacements, brake servicing, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Repair and replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering systems, brakes, and air-conditioning systems.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and road tests to ensure repairs are completed to specifications.
• Maintain accurate service records and job reports.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with workplace safety standards and company procedures.
• Keep tools and work areas clean, organized, and in good working condition.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Automotive Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, or similar role.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and repair procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical vehicle issues independently.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.
