Automation Tester

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Selenium (Java) and other testing tools.
• Analyze business and testing requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Plan and coordinate test environments and test data preparation activities.
• Execute test cases through manual and automated testing approaches.
• Identify, log, monitor, and retest defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Track testing progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Validate test coverage and ensure testing activities are completed according to project requirements.
• Participate in test result reviews and walkthrough sessions with project teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, tools, and frameworks.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience designing and executing test cases using the Cucumber BDD framework.
• Hands-on experience with web automation testing tools, preferably UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
• Experience in test automation using Selenium with Java and/or Appium with Java.
• Familiarity with automation framework development, enhancement, and maintenance.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, defect management, and quality assurance best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of banking or financial services systems would be an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Practical experience in software testing and test automation for web and mobile applications.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or banking-related projects.
• Familiarity with Agile development and testing practices.
