Automation Tester

Automation Tester:

1. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Watermelon or Cypress frameworks.

2. Collaborate with software development and QA teams to understand testing requirements and develop appropriate test strategies.

3. Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, identify defects, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

4. Enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

5. Analyze test results and provide meaningful insights to stakeholders regarding software quality.

6. Participate in code reviews, contribute to the improvement of coding standards, and share best practices with the team.

7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automation technologies, incorporating relevant tools andpractices into our testing processes.

8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of thesoftware development lifecycle by advocating for automation and implementingefficient testing methodologies.

9. Knowledge of API testing and tools such asPostman or Swagger.

10. Familiarity with containerization technologieslike Docker.

11. Experience working in Agile/Scrumenvironments.

12. Develop and execute test strategies for batchjobs, including scheduling validation, error handling, and output verification.

13. Perform Oracle database validation to verifydata integrity, transformation accuracy, and expected outcomes across testcycles.

14. Support cutover and rollback strategy planningand execution, including pre- and post-migration testing to ensure systemstability during deployments.

15. Perform Windows Server operations such asservice management, log monitoring, and environment configuration.

What we are looking for

Requirements:

1. Preferably more than 5 years of experience as aSoftware Tester using Watermelon and Cypress frameworks.

2. Strong proficiency in programming languagessuch as JavaScript, or Python.

3. Experience with web technologies includingHTML, CSS.

4. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g.,Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).

5. Solid understanding of software testingprinciples, methodologies, and best practices.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attentionto detail.

7. Effective communication skills with the abilityto collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

8. Self-motivated with a passion for continuouslearning and improvement.

9. Experience testing batch jobs, includingvalidation of scheduled tasks, job dependencies, and output file verification.

10. Hands-on experience with Oracle databasevalidation, including writing SQL queries to verify data integrity andtransformation logic.

11. Familiarity with Windows Server operationsrelevant to testing, such as monitoring services, reviewing event logs, andmanaging test environments.

12. Experience contributing to or executingcutover and rollback strategies, including smoke testing, go/no-go validation,and post-deployment verification.

Preferred Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
