Our Client is a MNC Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. This role is a leader, focusing on fully Autonomous Manufacturing, and Industry 4.0 initiatives across Asia Pacific. This role will shape and execute the automation and digital transformation roadmap, elevating manufacturing efficiency, quality, and operational excellence in the semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Industry 4.0 and lights‑out automation strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Develop departmental plans, including business, production, operational and organizational priorities.
- Drive long-term technology vision, innovation adoption, and cross‑site alignment.
- Automation & Digital Transformation
- Lead teams in implementing and sustaining Robotics automation, Material transportation automation, Process automation, and factory system automation solutions.
- Identify automation opportunities with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams; develop business cases and ROI models.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies that improve manufacturing efficiency, yield, stability, and quality.
- Execution & Operations
- Oversee budgets, resources, and project timelines across multiple concurrent automation projects.
- Ensure high-availability, fault‑tolerant design of automation systems.
- Lead incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and 24/7 support escalation plans.
- People Leadership
- Lead and mentor automation engineers and technical leaders, fostering professional growth and a high‑trust, high‑performance culture.
- Promote innovation, continuous improvement, and proactive exploration of emerging technologies.
- Ensure strong documentation, knowledge-sharing, and technical training across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 15+ years of semiconductor automation experience focused on lights-out manufacturing, factory systems, and digital transformation; minimum 5 years in leadership.
- Proven success leading regional/cross‑site teams and collaborating with vendors and partners.
- Strong understanding of backend processes, WIP flow, and production workflow optimization.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and operational management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts, resolve competing priorities, and drive data‑based decisions.
- Demonstrated capability in continuous improvement, waste elimination, and system optimization.
