Automation Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing)

Responsibilities:

• Manage automation systems and processes to meet safety and performance standards.
• Define performance and quality criteria through FEED, IQ, OQ, PQ validation, testing, and commissioning.
• Collaborate with internal teams on technical solutions, experiments, validation, and qualification to meet compliance and customer requirements.
• Develop test protocols, run concept tests, analyse results, and document outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; calibrate and repair machines/equipment.
• Participate in root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement in automation systems.
• Design maintenance procedures, checklists, and work instructions; train operations and maintenance staff.
• Support FMEA and machine qualification with internal teams and external partners.
• Oversee FAT and SAT with suppliers to meet delivery timelines.
• Coordinate qualifications with QA and production teams.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Degree of Engineering in Mechatronics / Mechanical.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of automation engineering system design concept & development, manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of statistical software analysis (e.g., MINITAB, MATLAB)
