Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation and robotic equipment used in aviation MRO and manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, and control system faults in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Calibrate and maintain instrumentation, sensors, and PLC-based control systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new automation equipment and upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to optimize equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and adhere to aviation quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100).
- Participate in continuous improvement and safety programs within the facility.
Requirements
- NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years experience in automation or equipment maintenance, preferably in aerospace, precision engineering, or advanced manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience with PLC systems, sensors, drives, and robotics.
- Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on safety and quality.
- Able to work shift
