Overview
PM Group is looking a Lead Automation Engineer who will be responsible for the automation and instrumentation design, including conceptual, front-end and detailed design activities across Pharmaceutical & Data Centre projects in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Control system design for industrial automation equipment from concept stage.
- Liaise with clients and the project design team to develop control system design specifications.
- Select and manage automation contractors through the project life cycle.
- Review and comment on system integrator and vendor design documentation.
- Liaise with automation vendors and keep up to date with the latest automation technology trends.
- Attend control system hardware and software FAT's.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- At least 10 years of experience with Automation/Control systems such as as SCADA/DCS/Delta-V/PLC
- Experience from Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Food /Nutritional sectors would be highly preferred
- Must have experience in project deliverable production in a multidiscipline design environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients within the different sectors
