Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Automation & Insights Engineer to build and maintain the tooling that enables proactive monitoring, automated remediation and continuous improvement of the digital employee experience.

The role will focus on developing Nexthink dashboards, alerts, campaigns, remote actions and self-healing automations, while working closely with Workplace Technology and Engineering teams to turn recurring issues into permanent solutions.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on Nexthink expertise, a scripting and automation mindset, and the ability to translate monitoring insights into practical automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and optimize Nexthink dashboards, alerts and experience metrics.
• Develop proactive monitoring and experience-management solutions using Nexthink.
• Design and manage Nexthink campaigns, including targeted user notifications and self-service/self-healing prompts.
• Develop, implement and tune Nexthink Act automations and remote actions.
• Identify repetitive issues and opportunities for automated remediation.
• Develop solutions that can detect, diagnose and resolve common endpoint issues with minimal user or engineering intervention.
• Work closely with global Workplace Technology Services and Engineering teams to develop preventive fixes and automation solutions.
• Analyze monitoring data to identify recurring issues, trends and opportunities for automation.
• Improve the accuracy and effectiveness of alerts by reducing alert noise and false positives.
• Ensure digital experience metrics and monitoring standards remain consistent across regional environments.
• Develop and maintain scripts using PowerShell, Python or other scripting languages to support automation and endpoint remediation.
• Test, validate and document automation workflows before production implementation.
• Monitor the effectiveness of automated actions and continuously tune them based on results.
• Support regional teams with automation-related troubleshooting and technical guidance.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, campaigns, automations, scripts and remote actions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving endpoint performance and user experience.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Nexthink.
• Strong experience with Nexthink Act.
• Experience developing and managing Nexthink Remote Actions.
• Experience creating and managing Nexthink Campaigns.
• Strong experience building Nexthink dashboards, alerts and experience metrics.
• Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
• Python or another scripting language is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11 endpoint environments.
• Experience with macOS endpoint environments.
• Good understanding of VDI environments.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Understanding of endpoint management, troubleshooting and remediation.
• Experience working with queries, datasets and digital experience metrics.
• Knowledge of tools such as Splunk, Sysinternals, Wireshark or ExtraHop is an advantage.
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools is preferred.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of experience in EUC, Desktop Engineering, Endpoint Management, Automation, Digital Experience Monitoring or Technology Operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Nexthink automation and digital experience management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to convert recurring technical issues into automated or self-healing solutions.
• Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple automation initiatives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with global Workplace Technology and Engineering teams.
• Experience in a large enterprise or financial services environment is preferred.
• Comfortable working across different time zones and regional teams.
