Automation Engineer

Job description on Engineer

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients for commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of SCADA/PLC, Machine Vision and automation systems

. Interpret control schematics and wiring diagrams n support of system design, integration, and commissioning activities

. Co-ordinate, work with sub-contractors on software/hardware development plans

. Develop/prepare and maintain documentation related to system configurations, test plans, and maintenance protocols.

Requirement

. Working knowledge of PLC systems, industrial networking and architecture.

. Familiar with Factory automation sensors and equipment such as Photo-electric, Inductive, Rotary encoders, Laser range finding sensors, LIDAR

. Basic knowledge of SCADA, IT networking, IP Cameras, NVRs, Electrical wiring , Machine vision, Robotics and motion control systems

. Must be analytical and detailed.

. Willing to learn and adapt a new technology quickly

. Occasional overseas travel work assignments at customer site

Qualifications:

. Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics or a related field.

. At least 3 years of experience in PLC and Automation systems.
