Job Summary
You will lead the development and implementation of IoT applications, robotics, and automation systems, driving process control and building automation projects. You will deliver onsite testing, commissioning, technical support, and customer training to ensure successful deployment and operation of integrated automation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IoT applications, robotics, building automation, industrial automation, and process control systems to meet client requirements
- Design, develop, and execute onsite testing and commissioning of automation and control systems to ensure operational readiness
- Provide technical support, documentation, and training to customers to enable effective system use and maintenance
- Program PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), SCADA, and HMI systems to deliver reliable automation solutions
- Configure hardware and write software code to integrate industrial networking, instrumentation, and control systems
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance
- Deliver ad-hoc engineering support to customers in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Communicate technical information clearly in both written and spoken forms to internal teams and customers
- Travel overseas on short notice and work outside regular hours, including weekends and public holidays, to support project needs
Required competencies and certifications
- Hands-on experience in IoT implementation and integration
- Knowledge and practical experience in building automation, process control, and industrial automation systems
- Proficiency in embedded programming and PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens)
- Experience in SCADA and HMI programming and configuration
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills applied to engineering and automation challenges
- Understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
- IT knowledge related to server/client infrastructure and industrial networking
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with customers and vendors professionally
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Relevant graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computing, or Mechatronic)
- 1-2 years of experience in engineering practice, process automation, robotics, service, and maintenance
- Customer-oriented mindset with proactive approach to problem resolution
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
