Automation Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Automation Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of automation systems and equipment. The role involves working closely with customers and internal engineering teams to deliver automation solutions, particularly within semiconductor equipment or automation machinery environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in automation systems, motion control, and mechanical design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation systems, machinery, and equipment based on project requirements.

• Prepare and review technical drawings, layouts, and mechanical designs using CAD software.

• Program, analyze, and troubleshoot automation systems, including motors, motion control systems, robotics, and automated production lines.

• Support system integration, testing, and commissioning of automation equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to automation systems and machinery.

• Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and provide engineering support or solutions.

• Participate in technical discussions, project reviews, and customer meetings.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure successful project delivery.

• Prepare technical documentation and reports related to design, testing, and troubleshooting activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Proven experience working in semiconductor equipment or automation machine companies.

• Solid knowledge of CAD design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

• Hands-on experience in automation-related industries, including motors, motion control systems, robotics, and automated production lines.

• Practical experience in programming, analysis, and troubleshooting automation systems.

• Proven experience working directly with customers and handling technical discussions.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on and proactive approach.
