Summary
This position is to design and assist the Manager for meeting the project deadline and deliver a quality solution. The individual has to grasp and learn the entire process and should be able to deliver the small sized project independently.
Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify requirements based on activity levels, product dimensional profiles and product flow and transportation methods.
- Recognize and specify use of automation where justified.
- Create equipment and operating supply lists, and provide purchase requisitions.
- Develop IT equipment (hardware and cabling) requirements based on activity levels and work content.
- Establish tasks and processes required to complete proposed work content.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Assisting Manager in identifying automation opportunities and finding insights.
- Assisting Manager in preparing model tabs like equipment's tab.
- Project Deliverables but not limited to Layout support, Presentations and any client questions related to engineering.
- Attend review meetings but not limited to Operations review, Internal Project meetings and Non-Project meetings.
- Working on personal development as per guidance from the reporting manager.
Qualifications Summary
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, industrial automation, or operations work experience.
- Strong understanding of both mechanical systems and digital automation tools.
- Strong communication.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in robotics, engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
Skills
- New technologies or equipments available in the markets related to automation.
Requirements
- Able to meet deadlines from project due date.
- Collaborate with Onsite Operations leader for guidance on the solutions required for the project.
- Ability to feedback on the operations process and financials specific to the projects but not limited to UPH (units per hour, Investments, Direct: Indirect Ratios, Direct : supervisior Ratios).
