Automation Engineer

Industry: Food & Beverage / Chemical / Pharmaceutical Process Plants

Overview:
We are an engineering and consultancy firm supporting process manufacturing clients in the F&B, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors. We are seeking an Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize automation and control systems across process facilities. You will work with PLC/SCADA/HMI platforms, support project execution, troubleshoot system issues, and help clients achieve higher safety, reliability, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial control solutions.
• Integrate automation systems into existing F&B, chemical, and pharmaceutical production environments.
• Perform FAT/SAT, commissioning, validation, and system testing.
• Provide troubleshooting, maintenance support, and system optimization.
• Prepare engineering documents (URS, FDS, SDS, IQ/OQ).
• Support project execution, liaising with clients, vendors, and contractors.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Automation/Mechatronics/Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, or equivalent PLC/SCADA systems.

Industry Knowledge Advantages:

• Knowledge of process automation in regulated industries (GMP, HACCP, safety standards).

. Handson experience in process plants is a strong advantage.

. F&B industry hygiene requirements (HACCP, EHEDG).

. Pharmaceutical validation standards (GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GMP).

. Chemical plant safety controls (HAZOP, SIL classification).

. LEW 7 certification
