Senior Control & Automation Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Control & Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in control panel design, system integration, and automation solutions for critical equipment in the Oil & Gas, marine and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and engineer control systems for:
- Generator Control Panels (synchronization, load sharing, paralleling control)
- Compressor Control Panels
- Fire Water Pump Control Systems
- Motor Control Centres (MCC) & Distribution boards
2. Develop and prepare engineering deliverables such as:
- System architecture diagrams, network architecture and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Profibus, etc.)
- General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- Control & Power Schematics
- Power distribution calculations
3. Involve in PLC/DCS programming, HMI configuration, and system FAT/SAT activities.
4. Ensure design comply with industry standards, client specifications and cybersecurity requirements.
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for procurement, panel fabrication, and site commissioning.
6. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution and commissioning stages.

Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Automation Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in automation systems for oil & gas, offshore, or industrial plants.
- Strong knowledge in generator synchronization, load sharing, and control system logic.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / EPLAN for electrical design.
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
- Familiarity with IEC / API / ATEX standards and cybersecurity compliance is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
