Automation Engineer (Data Centre Equipment)

Responsibilities

. Ensureall production machines and automation systems are in optimal working conditionto support smooth, defect-free operations.

. Tovalidate system performance, reliability, and functionality.

. Identifyand resolve bugs or inefficiencies in both hardware and software systems.

. Performon-site troubleshooting and root cause analysis for machine and system issuesescalate to suppliers and collaborate for remote support when necessary.

. Overseethe installation, integration, and setup of automation solutions - includingrobotics, control systems, and software - to ensure efficient process flow andminimal downtime.

. SupportNew Product Introduction (NPI) activities by providing automation expertise forseamless implementation and issue-free ramp-up.

. Ensuremachines and automation systems consistently meet targeted UPH (Units PerHour), cycle time, and quality standards.

. Provideongoing maintenance, preventive upkeep, and technical support for automatedequipment and systems.

. Collaborateclosely with cross-functional teams - including production, quality,engineering, and project management - to define requirements, implementsolutions, and drive continuous improvement.

. Developand maintain comprehensive documentation, including system designs,troubleshooting guides, test plans, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial automation.
• Strong technical proficiency in:
• Automation & Testing Tools: Experience with automation frameworks and test systems.
• System Integration:Familiarity with robotics, sensors, and networking technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
