Overview
We are seeking an Automation Engineer to support ongoing, project-based initiatives within a pharmaceutical or biotech environment. This is a long-term replacement role with a strong pipeline of projects, focused on delivery rather than operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and validation of control systems across various projects
- Execute Computer System Validation (CSV) activities in line with regulatory requirements
- Configure, integrate, and validate PLC and HMI systems
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on system integration
- Contribute to biotech decommissioning and lifecycle projects where required
- Ensure compliance with GMP and validation standards
- Work cross-functionally to deliver project milestones and outcomes
Requirements
- Strong experience in control systems, particularly PLC and HMI
- Hands-on experience in Computer System Validation (CSV)
- Background in system integration is preferred
- Experience within GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotech environments
- Good understanding of the validation lifecycle and documentation practices
