AutoCAD Drafter

RESPONSIBILITY

• Utilises knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings
• Verify that drawings are accurate, legible, and follow applicable industry codes
• Create detailed drawings as per clients specifications
• Work directly with project manager and 3D designer to develop drawings, schematics, and diagrams for projects
• Uses computer assisted design/drafting equipment and software to develop designs
• Creates and revises fabrication drawings
• Drafts detailed multi-view drawings of products
• Modify existing drawings to reflect necessary changes

REQUIREMENTS

• Self-motivated and able to work independently and on a team
• Detail oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of drafting standards, mathematics, and engineering technology
• The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions
• Able to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with various departments such as project, production and designer
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Degree or Diploma in Architectural or Civil Engineering or Building Information Technology
• Minimium 1 year of relevant experience in construction industry
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch Up & 3D Max
