Job Responsibilities (Aluminium & Glazing Drafter)

Prepare detailed shop drawings for aluminium and glazing works, including doors, windows, curtain walls, skylights, railings, and related systems.

Interpret architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to produce accurate drawings.

Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and site teams to ensure drawings comply with project requirements.

Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and assist in quantity calculations for procurement and cost control.

Revise and update drawings based on consultants and clients comments.

Liaise with suppliers and fabricators to confirm technical details, profiles, and installation methods.

Support submission of drawings for approval and track approval status.

Maintain proper documentation and version control of all drawings.

Assist in resolving technical issues during fabrication and installation stages.

Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion.

Proficient in AutoCAD (knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage).

Experience in aluminium and glazing industry is preferred.

Familiar with curtain wall systems, sliding systems, and façade detailing.
