Audit Supervisor/Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage statutory audits for private companies and nonprofit organisations, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Supervise compliance audits and grant audits, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Review and perform walkthroughs, tests of controls, and substantive audit procedures.
• Provide technical guidance on the application of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and auditing standards.
• Assist in audit planning, risk assessment, and development of audit strategies.
• Review working papers and deliverables prepared by junior staff, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Liaise with clients to address audit issues, provide recommendations, and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Support training and mentoring of audit associates and interns.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline professional qualifications such as CA/CPA/ACCA preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of audit experience, preferably at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies
• Familiarity with SFRS and auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and team members.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
