Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership across all audit engagements, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, SFRS, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments, designing and executing robust audit strategies, methodologies, and procedures.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing audit team, driving audit quality, professional development, and delivery within approved budgets and timelines.
- Exercise sound professional judgment in evaluating audit evidence, resolving complex audit matters, and forming well-supported audit opinions.
- Review, enhance, and implement audit policies, methodologies, and quality control procedures in line with evolving professional standards and best practices.
- Able to oversee and manage a diverse client portfolio, cultivating trusted, long-term relationships with senior management and key stakeholders.
- Serve as a technical authority, addressing complex audit, accounting, and regulatory queries from clients and internal teams.
- Lead and support business development and practice growth initiatives, strengthening market presence and expanding client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Chartered Accountant (Singapore) with Practicing Certificate and audit signing authority.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant audit experience, including at least 5 years at Audit Partner level in a mid-tier or equivalent professional services firm.
- Proven ability to sign audit opinions and ensure all engagements meet regulatory, professional, and ethical standards.
