Audit Manager (Technical & Training)

Key Responsibilities

• Review client and audit team working papers to assess the appropriateness of asset and liability carrying amounts measured using fair value or recoverable value
• Perform independent valuations for businesses, intellectual property, and financial instruments
• Conduct market, industry, and economic research to support valuation assumptions
• Build, analyze, and maintain financial and valuation models
• Develop valuation-related financial models and establish best practices, workflows, and procedures
• Perform financial modelling and forecasting using appropriate valuation methods and tools
• Review valuation reports to identify inaccuracies, gaps, and areas for improvement
• Apply relevant financial reporting standards and critically assess key inputs and assumptions used by management
• Guide team members in revising valuation reports to clearly articulate conclusions and rationale
• Carry out technical research and consultations, including preparation of technical publications and working paper templates
• Review, develop, and conduct technical training programs and materials for audit professionals
• Monitor and manage continuing professional education hours for audit teams
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• At least 5 years of audit experience, preferably from an international public accounting firm
• Strong interest and demonstrated specialization in technical research and professional training
