Job Summary
You will perform and manage statutory audit assignments and special audit engagements, driving accurate financial reporting and compliance with Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore. You will collaborate in planning audits, preparing programs, and leading teams to deliver timely, high-quality audit outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute statutory audit assignments and special audit engagements to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore to meet regulatory requirements
- Plan audit engagements by developing audit programs and assigning tasks to team members to optimize efficiency and quality
- Collaborate on ad hoc projects and assignments to support business needs and continuous improvement
- Manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely submission of audit reports and deliverables under tight schedules
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or Finance recognised by ISCA or ACCA
- Knowledge of auditing principles and practices
- Exposure to International Financial Reporting Standards or Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore
- Understanding of group consolidation processes is an added advantage
- Demonstrated proactive approach and commitment to meeting deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and professional demeanor
- Willingness to work overtime as required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant audit experience at least 2 years for senior roles
