About the role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Operations Manager to join our team at our Raffles Place restaurant. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficiency, quality, and exceptional guest experiences. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in an upscale, fast-paced hospitality environment and be part of a passionate team dedicated to culinary excellence.
What you'll be doing
Overseeing daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
Developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and service standards
Leading, training, and mentoring staff to maintain high performance and service quality
Managing staff scheduling, labor costs, and shift coordination
Ensuring the restaurant floor, dining areas, and service stations are well-maintained, organized, and presentable at all times
Monitoring food and drink service flow, including table turns, clearing, and replenishment
Handling cash management, end-of-day reconciliations, and financial reporting
Managing inventory, supplies, and vendor coordination to avoid shortages
Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations
Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints
Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing solutions to improve productivity
Collaborating with the culinary team to align front-of-house and kitchen operations
Tracking key performance metrics and preparing operational reports for senior management
What we're looking for
Good communication skills and strong leadership abilities
Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar operational leadership role in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Familiarity with fine dining service standards is highly desirable
Ability to lead by example, remain calm under pressure, and solve problems effectively
Strong organizational and analytical skills, with experience in inventory management and cost control
