Responsibilities:
. Conduct statutory audits of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
. Manage all aspects of audit engagements (including statutory and special audits), from planning and fieldwork to completion.
. Handle audit and accounting assignments independently with minimal supervision.
. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
. Prepare audit and tax schedules as assigned.
. Ensure timely completion of audit and accounting assignments, meeting monthly budgets and billing targets.
. Apply bookkeeping skills, including the preparation of accounting entries and bank reconciliations.
. Assist with GST filings and registration processes.
. Perform monthly accounts closing and prepare related management reports as required.
. Manage tax compliance matters for corporate clients.
. Support other assignments and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
. Possess a recognised degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification from an internationally recognised accounting institute.
. Fresh graduates or candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in audit or accounting are welcome to apply.
. Good knowledge of bookkeeping.
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills resourceful, able to work independently and as part of a team.
. Able to meet tight deadlines and committed to delivering quality work.
. Excellent command of English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
. A keen eye for detail.
. Proficient in MS Office and computer applications.
. Pleasant and professional disposition.
. Experience in group consolidation of accounts is an added advantage.
