[What the role is]

Join the Centre for Teaching and Learning Development (CTLD) at Nanyang Polytechnic, where we are dedicated to advancing teaching and learning through innovative technology. As an Assistant Manager in Educational Technology, you will support the evaluation, implementation, and scaling of EdTech and AI-enabled tools that enhance the learning experience for both staff and students across the polytechnic.

[What you will be working on]

  • Next Generation LMS - Support the preparation, tender coordination, and evaluation process for NYP's Next Generation Learning Management System (NGLMS), including stakeholder engagement, vendor clarifications, demo sessions, and consolidation of feedback and follow-up actions.
  • AI in Teaching & Learning - Support the exploration, piloting, and scaling of AI applications in teaching and learning contexts, including adaptive learning platforms and AI-enabled LMS features. This includes coordinating with data scientists and engineers on system architecture and dashboard development, as well as working with lecturers to pilot AI tools, gather feedback, analyse outcomes, and prepare evaluation reports and recommendations for institutional adoption.
  • AI Governance & Ethics - Support the preparation and submission of AI governance and ethics approvals for AI-related projects, both internally and with relevant external bodies. Assist in ensuring that AI initiatives are implemented in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements, and provide guidance and support to staff navigating the approval process.
  • EdTech Implementation & Adoption- Support the rollout and adoption of EdTech tools across schools, document teaching use cases and good practices, gather feedback on implementation challenges, and prepare evaluation summaries to inform ongoing improvements and scaling decisions.

[What we are looking for]

  • Relevant qualification in Educational Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Candidates with relevant qualification in Education or a related discipline, combined with strong technology implementation experience, will also be considered
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in educational technology, digital learning, or a related field
  • Familiar with AI applications and Generative AI tools in an educational context
  • Familiar with AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices.
  • Experienced in evaluating and implementing educational technology platforms
  • Experienced working with LMS ecosystems and digital learning tools.
  • Able to support pilot testing, user feedback collection, and structured evaluation processes
  • Experienced in preparing evaluation reports and implementation recommendations
  • Able to translate teaching and learning requirements into functional system and technology needs
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with lecturers, schools, vendors, and institutional or external regulatory bodies
  • Able to support training and change management initiatives to drive technology adoption among staff
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment
