Asst/Marine Superintendent

Job Description:

As a Asst Marine Superintendent in the shipping industry, you will be responsible for supporting the Marine Superintendent in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of marine vessels. You will assist in ensuring compliance with regulations, managing vessel maintenance, and coordinating crew activities to ensure smooth sailing operations.

1. Assist the Marine Superintendent in monitoring vessel operations and compliance with safety standards.

2. Coordinate with ship crews to ensure adherence to operational procedures and regulations.

3. Support in planning and executing vessel maintenance and repair activities.

4. Assist in managing budget and resources for marine operations.

5. Collaborate with various stakeholders to optimize vessel performance and efficiency.

6. Prepare reports and documentation related to vessel operations and safety compliance.

Job Requirement

• COC Class 2 with tanker sailing experience.
• Experience in relation to safety, health and environment management and compliance for product or chemical tankers.
• Familiar with international and local maritime regulations and requirements.
• At least 1-year shore based experience in a ship management company.
• Analytical, able to work independently and result-oriented.
