The Department of Industry and Partnerships (InP) plays a pivotal role in fulfilling Singapore Polytechnic (SP) mission as a polytechnic for all ages and prepare our learners to be life-ready, work-ready and world-ready for the transformation of Singapore.

The Assistant Manager, Marketing & Communications supports and implements marketing, communications, and digital initiatives for Singapore Polytechnic's industry engagement and partnerships. The role translates programmes, partnerships, and events into clear, credible, and engaging communications that strengthen SP's visibility, reputation, and relationships with industry, government, and internal stakeholders.

[What you will be working on]

. Support marketing and communications for industry programmes by crafting clear, targeted messaging and managing vendor deliverables across design, digital, video, and events.
. Develop content across formats - including articles, stories, presentations, captions, and event materials - and provide editorial guidance to ensure clarity and alignment with SP's branding.
. Act as the liaison with Corporate Communications for media, branding, messaging, and governance matters, ensuring materials are reviewed, aligned, and compliant with institutional standards.
. Draft talking points and messaging briefs for industry announcements, partnerships, and highprofile events.
. Oversee LinkedIn content for industry engagement, including planning, posting, and curating stories that showcase partnerships and impact.
. Manage and update industryrelated pages on the SP website, ensuring content accuracy, consistency, and relevance.
. Support communications for major industry events, including message development, multimedia content, event materials, and postevent reporting.

[What we are looking for]

. Tertiary education in Communications, Marketing, Media, Business, or a related discipline or at least 4 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications.
. Detail-oriented, with strong coordination skills and sound judgement to manage competing priorities and diverse stakeholders, including senior management.
. Experience in public sector, education, or large organisations is an advantage.
. Strong writing and editing skills across a range of communications materials.
. Familiarity with digital platforms, including LinkedIn and websites, and basic content performance tracking.
. Able to work independently and manage ambiguity.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
