Asst Manager, E-Commerce (Exp as Buyer and Merchandiser in retail/Supervising/Tampines)

Responsibilities:

1. Formulate and drive buying strategies using sales data, inventory insights, seasonal trends, and market intelligence.

2. Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure optimal quality, pricing, reliability, and compliance.

3. Negotiate commercial terms-including pricing, payment conditions, MOQs, and delivery schedules-to maximize margins and inventory efficiency.

4. Lead end-to-end e-commerce operations, covering sales performance, order fulfilment, customer service, returns, and platform management.

5. Maintain accuracy and consistency of product listings, pricing, promotions, and content across all channels.

6. Optimize platform and brand pages through effective merchandising, content updates, and promotional execution to enhance visibility and conversion.

7. Analyze customer feedback and service metrics, driving continuous improvements in customer experience.

8. Oversee inventory health and execute promotional initiatives such as bundles, discounts, vouchers, and campaigns.

9. Collaborate with e-commerce platforms and partners, leveraging performance insights to achieve business objectives.

10. Deliver regular reporting on sales, inventory, and performance, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

11. Other ad hoc been assigned

Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, Business Development or relevant discipline.

• Min. 3 years of E-commerce buying and merchandising experience in Retail industry.

• IT savvy, meticulous, good sense with figures and strong analytical minded

• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent planning, independent, strong time-management skills and multitasking ability.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and ERP systems is an advantage.
