Job Summary
Manage the full spectrum of human resource functions, including recruitment coordination, onboarding facilitation, HR database maintenance, training program application, and leave administration to support organizational effectiveness and employee development.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with shortlisted candidates to streamline recruitment processes and enable timely hiring decisions
- Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs to integrate new employees effectively into the organization and accelerate their productivity
- Maintain and update HR databases with accurate employee details and training records to support data-driven HR management and compliance
- Apply and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and strengthen organizational capabilities
- Monitor and manage FLICK time management systems and leave processes to ensure compliance and accurate record-keeping
- Execute the full payroll cycle using SAGE payroll software, ensuring payroll accuracy and timely submission of reports to statutory bodies
- Administer workers dormitories, employee insurances, disciplinary actions, and conduct investigations as needed to uphold workplace standards
- Manage statutory statistics, surveys, inspections, and audits (e.g., dormitory FEDA licence requirements, ISO, IEC, payroll) to maintain regulatory compliance
- Organize company and festive events to foster employee engagement and positive workplace culture
- Monitor staff welfare programs including claims, beverages, and toiletries to support employee well-being
- Serve as liaison with government agencies and related institutions/associations such as MOM, SNEF, NTU, ITE, BCA, and ASMI to ensure alignment with labor regulations and industry standards
- Oversee the operation and movement of the INFO-TECH door access system to maintain security and access control
- Perform other HR administrative duties to support overall HR operations and business needs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree in Human Resource or any discipline with IHRP Certified
- Relevant working experience in manufacturing, marine, and/or construction industries
- Well-versed in Employment Act, Safety & Health regulations, and related labor laws
- Familiarity with Compensation and Benefits management
- Proficient in MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Charts, etc.) to manage HR tasks efficiently
- Strong time management skills to prioritize and complete HR activities within deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage clearly with employees and stakeholders
- Detail-oriented and meticulous approach to maintain accuracy in HR records and processes
- Demonstrated leadership ability to motivate, train, and lead the HR team
