Associate Systems Engineer – Change Management

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Associate Systems Engineer to support and improve IT Service Management processes, with a strong focus on Change Management.

The role will be responsible for coordinating change requests, facilitating Change Advisory Board (CAB) reviews, assessing risks and dependencies, ensuring proper approvals, and supporting smooth deployments with minimal business disruption.

The position will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to assess change impacts, track actions, maintain documentation, and communicate planned downtime and change completion updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and manage the change approval lifecycle.
• Manage and coordinate change requests in line with ITIL and IT Service Management practices.
• Review changes for risk, dependencies, business impact, and potential operational issues.
• Coordinate with technical and business teams to ensure appropriate change planning and approvals.
• Recommend controls and mitigation measures to improve change success and reduce operational risk.
• Track CAB decisions, action items, and follow-ups through completion.
• Communicate planned downtime, implementation schedules, and change completion updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain the change-control portal, documentation, templates, SOPs, and process-related information.
• Monitor change-related SLAs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to make Change Management processes more efficient and effective.
• Prepare ITSM, SLA, change-performance, and initiative-progress reports for leadership.
• Support related ITSM processes such as Incident and Problem Management as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS, or a related discipline.
• 8–10 years of overall IT experience, with approximately 3–5 years of experience in ITSM, Change Management, System Operations, Incident Management, or Problem Management.
• Working knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management methodologies.
• Experience managing or coordinating IT changes, approvals, deployments, and stakeholder communications.
• Strong understanding of change risk, impact assessment, dependencies, and operational controls.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and professional writing skills.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred

• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience working with enterprise ITSM/change-control platforms.
• Experience supporting CAB governance and IT service delivery processes.
