On behalf of our client, a telecommunications company, we are seeking for a RF Engineer to oversee site selection, network planning, drive testing, and performance optimisation.
Job Scope
- Optimise RF performance for TETRA and 4G networks, and monitor performance
- Handle site selection, surveys, planning, and network tasks for TETRA and 4G networks
- Design in-building systems, perform coverage tests, and fix coverage issues
- Conduct drive tests, analyze data, and fix issues
- Coordinate in a multi-vendor environment to support wireless equipment operation and network optimisation.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics or related
- Experienced in 4G networks and knowledge of RAN and Core
- Experienced with RF planning and testing tools like Atoll, Nemo Handy, Nemo Analyzer, Google Earth, and MapInfo Professional etc.
- Availability for after-hours work and emergencies whenever required
- A valid Class 3 driving license is preferred to drive company vehicles during site visit
