Job Summary
The Associate Project Manager supports delivery of technology SI projects in data platforms, analytics dashboards, AI solutions, and cloud modernization. They coordinate project activities, manage documentation, and ensure communication between teams and clients, also managing smaller projects independently.
Responsibilities
- Support senior project managers in planning, tracking, and coordinating activities for large-scale technology projects
- Manage end-to-end execution of smaller projects from initiation through delivery
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, timelines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and project reviews with internal and external stakeholders
- Document meeting minutes, action items, and follow-up tasks to maintain clear project records
- Serve as a liaison between technical consultants, project managers, and clients to facilitate effective collaboration
- Assist in preparing comprehensive project status reports and progress updates for stakeholders
- Maintain accurate project documentation including project plans, Statements of Work (SOW), risk and issue logs, and change requests with version control
- Support project planning activities such as scope definition and timeline development to align project goals
- Track project risks and issues, escalating critical items to project managers promptly
- Assist in project governance and internal reporting to ensure compliance with organizational standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, or consulting support roles
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Exposure to data analytics, AI, cloud platforms, or IT consulting projects
- Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar tracking software
